Iceland Residency
From March to April 2010 an Arts Council funded residency was undertaken in South-West Iceland, primarily in Laugarvatn. This research and development expedition had the objective of discovering more about Icelandic folklore and people's relationships with in-between spaces or Hinterlands.
Much theoretical development came from this trip, with the chain of events and research leading to the emergence of the Prospective, into which Hinterlands has now been merged.
Further details on this residency, and the subsequent works, to follow in the coming months.
Kindly supported and funded by:
Arts Council England, Interval Digital Arts Platform and Gullkistan Artist Residency Iceland
